Whether your goals are to increase physical activity, mental awareness or creative expression, we can guide you along a path of exploration, discovery and awareness of your true inner self. Yoga and Art, each in their own way, seek to unite the individual body, mind and spirit. This connection is crutial to improving your health, enhance your life and finding your true inner self.
YOGA The yogic path emphasizes asanas (physical exercise), pranayama (breath work) and meditation. The body is strenghtened and relaxed creating support for the union. The mind is actively focused on the breath or prana (the energy within the body) creating the fuel for the union. The spirit is heightened and excited with this new mind/body connection creating the spark necessary to explore and dis-cover your true inner self. ART The artistic path is very similar to the yogic path. The mind/body connection is developed through the creative process instead of physical exercise. The spirit is again sparked by the connection creating the inspiration for the discovery and expression of your true inner self.
You don't need talent or experience to enjoy the creative process.
